Hi my angels!

My Facebook feed is LITERALLY full of posts where someone or the other is finally tying the knot. Also, since this is the month of love, I thought it would be the PERFECT time to share with all you bridesmaids and the brides-to-be the do’s and the dont’s on the two most important functions besides the wedding day.

There is so much more to a wedding than the”D day”. My personal favorites are Mehendi and Cocktail without a doubt! And the reason is very obvious. We all know the crazy amount of fun everybody, from the bride and groom to their best of friends and family, has on these functions. Moreover, Dance performances, the after party and the general liveliness of these youth- centric functions pave a way for the modern brides to look every bit fresh ,vibrant and gorgeous because they can experiment with their outfits, makeup , style and most importantly the jewellery.

To make it easier for you, in my capacity as a proud member of the truly bridal community, I present to you a few  styling tips for these events.

1. Mehendi

It is important to buy jewellery that is versatile and fits the occasion! Mehendi outfits should be the most colorful and vibrant of all. But make sure your stunning jewellery doesn’t disappear into your outfit. Maang tikkas and delicate earrings will always be the right choice for mehendi functions.Flaunt the gorgeous mehendi design with beautiful anklets and bangles in ruby and emeralds.

2. Cocktail

Cocktail nights scream the perfect blend of indian and modern to me. Wear chandbaalis with an intricate neck piece to match it with your modern day attire.Do not forget that perfect bold statement ring!
