Hi my loves<3
Ms. Bagwati here!
I know how all of us ladies have so many different occasions to attend. And how we almost always need a hand bag, even if it is to just keep our lipstick! ( Certainly so, if the bag/ clutch is complimenting our outfit *wink wink* )
Now, we all possess a pair of black jeggings and most of us have a black crop top in our closets too! Today’s post is all about styling a basic pair of black jeggings and crop top using my 3 most favorite bags and some pre-used clothes lying at the back of my closet.
LOOK 1: Sporty
Delhi winters call for casual picnic scenes with your best buddies, or going to a stadium to watch KKR (read SRK ) slay , or plans of the like. Naturally so , these are the occasions when the typical girl inside me goes for a nap and I decide to dress as chiller as possible. These are also the occasions when you need a hand bag which is not only stylish but actually has the capacity to carry stuff.Lets admit it, we girls have a lot to carry: phone, lip balm, charger, sunscreen etc etc etc etc:p
Keeping of all this in mind, I teamed up my black bustier crop top with a plaid shirt and a crop denim jacket. (Just loved the way this crop-long-crop asymmetrical layering turned out). My look was complete after I added my blue shoes and cap. ( Totally reminds me of the time when we delhiites were bleeding blue and hooting for India at the T20 world cup)
BAGWATI RECOMMENDS : For a plan like this, A spacious, stylish and easy to carry hand bag is a must! I chose one such bag from RIVET (Click on the brand name to check out their collection on instagram)
LOOK 2: Cocktail / Indo western
I indian-ized the western crop top and jeggings using my old blue saree that I bought 2 years back when Batameez dil was everybody’s favorite Bollywood song and Deepika Padukone everyone’s new fav actress. I draped the saree in the form of a indo western cape and secured it with a golden belt.
Chica blanca’s beautiful gold-kundan earrings added just the perfect touch of gold that I needed to enhance my look.
BAGWATI RECOMMENDS: This look demanded a clutch that was beautifully embroidered and gold in color to match the gold patti on my saree-cape and at the same time something that was indo-western enough to match my attire of the same genre.
This hot trending square shaped clutch from CHICA BLANCA was just the right choice for the cocktail look. In fact, this clutch is a must have given that most of our Indian wear has gold embroidery! (Click on the brand name to check out their collection on instagram)
LOOK 3 : Bold/ Event ready
Make a statement at a brunch party, or a blogger event, or a concert by adding a tan stripped coat and matching tan gladiators to your basic black crop top and jeggings.
BAGWATI RECOMMENDS : If the stylish spacious Rivet bag was one extreme and the Indo western ,hot in trend squared Chica blanca Clutch was the other extreme , then this look demanded a bag which was kind of in the middle . Moderately spacious, A quirky print of the Tower Bridge of london , this Lastinch bag perfectly complemented my bold look! (Click on the brand name to check out their collection on instagram)
This is it for today loves!
