Hey hey!

Hope this month was super good for you and that November entertains you even more! For all of us living in India, the coming month is going to be super busy and oh yes, super stylish because the wedding season and Diwali are just around the corner!! But are you ready for all the latkas and jhatkas in your lehengas ? Are the outfits ready and hanging in your closets already? Oooor are you still confused about the trends to follow this wedding season?

I am not going to delay this further and show you what I wore for a friend’s Sagan ceremony.

Outfit

Like everybody else, I surveyed the markets rigorously and I found one trend common to all renowned labels- the combination of mirror work and florals.

The Indo western gown that I chose to wear had both of these evergreen trends incorporated together just perfectly. I had a lot of options to choose from, but when it comes to Indian clothes, Royal blue can never go wrong.

Hair

The entire back of this beautiful gown was made of net and I wanted to flaunt it. Also, Indian functions almost always mean opening your hair, so why not  break some rules eh? I went ahead with curls and a puffed ponytail.

Jewelry

The first thing that came to my mind while I was picturing this look was – Kundan. After all, what Indian outfit is complete without Kundan jewerly? I added a pair of simple earrings and a matching kundan ring complementing it with my Swarovski stardust bracelet for the perfect girly touch.

Lots of love,

Niki
